1) Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes April 28, 2010 - Revised
MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Mr. Ventricelli to approve. Carried unanimous.
2) Candace Benyei, 29 Giles Hill Road, Application for a Special permit for a horse barn/riding arena/storage area. The Commission opened deliberations on this item and decided to continue the deliberations to the June 9, 2010 Zoning Commission Meeting.
3) David Sierman (agent), Blossoms Too, 2 Long Ridge Road- Discuss with Commission a Site Plan Review at 2 Long Ridge Road (John Wanat, Owner)
After approving this item administratively, it was discovered that this was proposed to be a propane tank filling station, which is a change from the original use. This item has been reviewed and approved by the Fire Marshall and the Building Department.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Mr. Ventricelli to approve. Carried unanimous.
4) Boys and Girls Club of Redding, 170 Cross Highway- Discuss with Commission Limited Duration Permit for Annual Barbeque to be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Previously held last year on 6/20/09.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Sanford and seconded by Mr. Ventricelli to approve. Carried unanimous.
Future Agenda Items
1) May 26 Public Hearing: Redding Country Club, 109 Lonetown Road- Discuss with Commission a Special permit and Site Plan review.
2) May 26 Public Hearing: Region 9 Board of Education, 100 Black Rock Turnpike- Discuss with Commission a Special Permit and Site Plan.
3) May 26 Public Hearing: Redding Elementary School PTA, 33 Lonetown Road- Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Special permit for a PTA Carnival to be held from June 25 through June 27, 2010.
4) May 26 Public Hearing: Redding Zoning Commission: Discuss with Commission an amendment to the Redding Zoning Regulations Regarding Flood damage prevention pursuant to a directive from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
