PUBLIC HEARING

Georgetown Land Development – Discuss with Commission approval of amendment to site plan.
Present to answer questions from the Commission were Attorney Richard Gibbons, representing Georgetown Land Development Company, Georgetown Redevelopment Corporation and the Special Taxing District, Bob Gilchrist from Solaris Architecture and Rich Pettinelli, Fuss & O’Neil.

Attorney Gibbons had no comment with regard to a letter received from the Georgetown Fire District and found it satisfactory.
Greg Zap, Georgetown Fire Department, inquired as to the location of traffic lights in the area of Portland Avenue and Redding Road (Route 107). There will not be a traffic light at that intersection, but a traffic signal to stop traffic, activated based on traffic.
Ms. Atamian asked about whether the number of proposed affordable units, 55 or 80, would affect the overall number of housing units, including single family homes. Mr. Gibbons said that the overall number would not be affected.

MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Mr. Miyashiro to close the public hearing.

The public hearing closed at 7:43 p.m.

                                                Respectfully Submitted,
