Present: ~~Gerry Casiello, Chairman; John Shaban, Vice Chairman; Ben Gordon; Marshall Sanford; Joe Ventricelli; Amy Atamian, Gary Miyishiro
Absent: ~ Bob Flanagan, ZEO
Mr. Miyashiro and Ms. Atamian were seated for the votes for Items 1-3.
REGULAR MEETING
1. Approval of Public Hearing Minutes September 9, 2009.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Miyashiro and seconded by Mr. Shaban to accept the minutes as submitted. Motion carried.
2. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes September 9, 2009.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Ms. Atamian to accept the minutes as submitted. Motion carried.
3. Georgetown Land Development – Discuss with Commission approval of amendment to site plan.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Mr. Miyashiro to approve. Motion carried.
Mr. Miyashiro and Ms. Atamian were unseated for the remainder of the meeting.
4. Arianit Krasniqi, 280 Ethan Allen Highway – Discuss with Commission a Site Plan Approval for a Hair Salon
Debbie Brulla presented the application on behalf of her sister, Arianit Krasniqi. This is an approved use for this zone and the reason it comes before the Commission is that it is a change in use, and parking requirements need to be met. There is adequate parking on site.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Gordon and seconded by Mr. Sanford to approve. Carried unanimous.
5. New Pond Farm, 101 Marchant Road - Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Permit for annual “Harvest Festival” to be held on October 17th, 2009 rain date October 18th, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Previously held last year on October 18th.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Sanford and seconded by Mr. Gordon to approve. Carried unanimous.

--October 14, 2009 Public Hearing - Heritage Center –Town of Redding, Community Center, Lonetown Road – Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Permit for Holiday Gift Fair to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Previously held last year without approval.
--October 14, 2009 Public Hearing - Redding 350 Climate Action Committee - Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Permit for Day of Climate Action to be held on Saturday October 24th and a rain date of Sunday October 25th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Not previously held before.
