Present: ~~Gerry Casiello, Chairman; John Shaban, Vice Chairman; Amy Atamian, Gary Miyishiro
Absent: ~Ben Gordon, Marshall Sanford, Joe Ventricelli
Also Present: ~Bob Flanagan, ZEO; Natalie Ketcham, First Selectman
Mr. Miyashiro was seated for Mr. Gordon and Ms. Atamian was seated for Mr. Sanford.
REGULAR MEETING
Mr. Casiello seated Mr. Miyishiro and Ms. Atamian.
1. Approval of Public Hearing postponed until September 9, 2009.
2. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes August 12, 2009.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Miyashiro and seconded by Ms. Atamian to accept the minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 12, 2009 as submitted. Mr. Shaban abstained. Motion carried.
3. Redding Boys and Girls Club, 170 Cross Highway - Discuss with Commission a site plan for a Town of Redding Carnival to be held on October 2-3, 2009 at the Redding Community Center.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Shaban and seconded by Mr. Miyashiro to approve. Carried unanimous.
4. Georgetown Land Development – Discuss with Commission approval of amendment to site plan.
Public hearing continued to September 23, 2009.
5. Heritage Center –Town of Redding, Community Center, Lonetown Road – Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Permit for Holiday Gift Fair to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Previously held last year without approval.
MOTION: Made by Ms. Atamian and seconded by Mr. Miyashiro set a public hearing for October 14, 2009. Carried unanimous.
6. Redding 350 Climate Action Committee - Discuss with Commission a Limited Duration Permit for Day of Climate Action to be held on Saturday October 24th and Sunday October 25th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Not previously held before.
MOTION: Made by Ms. Atamian and seconded by Mr. Miyashiro set a public hearing for October 14, 2009. Carried unanimous.
