Present: ~~ Gerry Casiello, Acting Chairman; Ben Gordon, Secretary; Marshall Sanford; Joe Ventricelli; Amy Atamian; Gary Miyashiro
Mr. Casiello seated Mr. Miyashiro for John Shaban.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Sanford and seconded by Mr. Gordon to open the public hearing.
PUBLIC HEARING
Georgetown Land Development – To discuss and possibly vote on the Amendment to Master Plan Site.
Richard Gibbons, representing Georgetown land Development, Co., presented the amended site plan to the Commission. He explained that the changes would affect several buildings and changes within the infrastructure.
Bob Gilchrist, Landscape Architect, showed drawings of the proposed changes in design of two buildings and two areas of roadway, which also included a parking area for 25 vehicles.
Tara Covell and Andrea Romero, Jonathan Rose Company, were also present to answer the Commissions questions. Bill Crosskey, Crosskey Architects, gave a brief presentation as to his company’s involvement in the project, which includes design of the affordable housing building. The building will house 69 units; 35 one bedroom units at approximately 700 square feet each and 34 two bedroom units at approximately 900 square feet each. The building is proposed to be five stories, or 60 feet in height. Ms. Covell explained that it would take 2-2 ½ months to develop the design.
Mr. Casiello said that two items of correspondence had been received, from the Conservation and Planning Commissions. Both expressed approval of the amendments. Mr. Flanagan reported that he received no comments from the Board of Selectmen.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Gordon and seconded by Mr. Sanford to close the public hearing. Carried unanimous.
The public hearing ended at 8:15 p.m.
