Mr. Casiello seated Mr. Miyashiro for Mr. Shaban, who has been appointed as a Regular Member of the Zoning Commission.
Upon Mr. Shaban’s arrival, Mr. Miyashiro was unseated.
PUBLIC HEARING
60 Redding Road, LLC, 60 Redding Road- Discuss with the Commission a Site Plan Approval for addition to existing building at 60 Redding Road.
Larry Edwards, L. Edwards Associates LLC, presented the revised site plan to the Commission. Mr. Edwards had made some minor revisions to the site plan in response to comments in the Malone and McBroom report of June 6th.
Mr. Casiello noted communications from the Planning Commission, the Health Department and residents from the Community of Redding Woods.
Julie Connolly, 11 Woods Way, spoke in opposition, concerned about possible blasting. Mr. Edwards had said that no blasting was anticipated; only drilling.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Sanford and seconded by Mr. Gordon to close the public hearing. Carried unanimous.
Hans and Ingela Gram, 36 Chestnut Woods Road – Discuss with Commission a Special Application for an Accessory Apartment at 36 Chestnut Woods Road.
Brian O’Hara, architect for the homeowners, presented the application. A one room addition to an existing detached structure is proposed. The existing cottage is 459 square feet and the proposed addition is 131 square feet. The cottage has its own well and septic and there are no wetland issues. An attached two car garage is also proposed. The property is a twelve acre parcel.
MOTION: Made by Mr. Sanford and seconded by Mr. Casiello to close the public hearing. Carried unanimous.
