CALL: Public Hearing: Temple B’Nai Chaim, 166-170 Portland Avenue, Georgetown—Discussion with Commission for a Special Site Plan Approval for addition to the existing facility.
Motion: move to open the Public Hearing. Sanford, Casiello. Approved. Unanimous.
DISCUSSION
Attorney Neil Marcus provided an overview of the planned addition to the existing facility. An enlarged parking area and septic system that is located on the Wilton portion of the parcel has been approved by Wilton and construction is underway. The addition to the facility is located on the Redding portion of the parcel. The Conservation Commission has approved the plan. When the new structure is completed, a permit will be required to connect the building to the septic system. Mr. Richard Kent of Environmental Design Associates and Tom Quinn of Peak Engineers reviewed the details of the plan.
Mr. Taylor received a letter from the Conservation Commission with their approval and a letter from the Planning Commission indicating no further action was necessary. A letter from Doug Hartline of the Health Department indicated a need for the permit to connect the building to the septic system.
Motion: move to close the public hearing. Gordon Casiello. Approved. Unanimous.
ADJOURNMENT
The public hearing was closed at 8:05 pm
