REGULAR MEETING
Mr. Taylor called the regular meeting of the Redding Zoning Commission to order at 8:16 p.m. and seated Mr. Shaban for Mr. Sanford.
CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES
Mr. Labarski’s name was incorrectly spelled.
MOTION: To accept the minutes of the meeting of November 14, 2007 as amended. Made by Shaban, seconded by Casiello. Unanimous Approval.
Boy Scout Troop 15
Representatives from Boy Scout Troop 15 were present requesting that they be exempt from a public hearing. They feel that this is unnecessary as the church in which it is being held has held these types of events before and this is a not for profit event which will benefit a soup kitchen. A letter outlining their position was distributed to the Commission.
The event is scheduled for May 17, 2008 at St. Patrick’s Church. Parking will be at the church lot and bathrooms will be available. Written permission has been granted by the church.
MOTION: To waive the fee and public hearing for Boy Scout Troop 15. Made by Gordon, seconded by Casiello.
MOTION: To amend the previous motion to waive the fee and public hearing for Boy Scout Troop 15 providing that a letter is submitted to the Commission stating that this event will be the same as the church as had in previous years. Made by Casiello, seconded by Gordon. Unanimous Approval.

Joe Ventricelli presented the Commission with a copy of the regulations from the city of Norwalk.
Mr. Taylor feels that the definition needs to be clearer.
MOTION: To approve the proposed amendment as presented. Made by Casiello, seconded by Gordon. MOTION FAILED. Only Casiello voted in favor.
Joe Ventricelli will work on this amendment.
MOTION: To adjourn the meeting at 8:58 p.m. Made by Shaban, seconded by Gordon.
Unanimous Approval.
