REGULAR MEETING
Acting Chairman Mr. Casiello called the regular meeting of the Redding Zoning Commission to order at 7:30 p.m. and seated Gary Miyashiro for Mr. Sanford and John Shaban for Mr. Taylor.
CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES
MOTION: Mr. Shaban made a motion to accept the minutes of the regular meeting of September 26, 2007 as submitted. Mr. Ventricelli seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously.
Marilyn Sloper, Sloper Properties LLC, 2 Main Street, Georgetown
Adam Labarski was present for Ms. Sloper and is acting as her agent. He explained that they would like to amend the Zoning Regulations to allow businesses with road frontage on two roads to have two signs, which would not exceed the square footage of one sign. Currently the Zoning Office has issued cease and desist on some businesses for having multiple signs, however, there are many businesses which have more than one sign. Dennis Tobin explained that they will be issuing more cease and desist orders unless this amendment is made to the regulations.
Mr. Casiello stated that the Commission would like to work on this amendment and he and Mr. Labarski will work together and drafts will be shared with the Commission. This item should be placed back on the agenda for further discussion on October 24, 2007.
Georgetown Village Restoration Inc., Georgetown
Adam Labarski was present for this application and stated that it is the same event they have had in the past. It is scheduled for June 8, 2008.

New Pond Farm, 101 Marchant Road
This is a minor modification to the site plans. It involves moving the south facing wall out eight feet. The building will look the same. The purpose is for more efficient manure management. They are currently having difficulty getting their compost pile to break down due to a lot of wood shavings. This redesign would reduce the amount of wood shavings.
This would not allow for an increase in the amount of cows.
MOTION: This modification is a minor modification and there is no need to hold a public hearing. Made by Gordon, seconded by Ventricelli. Unanimous Approval.
MOTION: To approve the application submitted by New Pond Farm for a site plan modification to the existing “cement barn”. Made by Gordon, seconded by Shaban. Unanimous Approval.
