TOWN OF REDDING
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 17, 2008-8:00 P.M.
TOWN HALL HEARING ROOM

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

REGULAR APPLICATIONS:

0608-1: 8 Sunnyview Drive, Steve and Janice Pomazi, Owners: Request variance to Sec 4.6.5(c), reduce rear yard setback from 50 feet to 30 feet, and Sec 4.6.5(b), reduce side yard setback from 40 feet to 20 feet.
Mr. and Mrs. Pomazi presented their application to the Board. Mr. Pomazi explained that he would like to build a house, install a pool and build a 40' X 40' foot barn on the lot. There is enough room for a septic and reserve. Mr. Pomazi provided a hand drawn map of the proposed plans. Mr. Pomazi plans to use the barn to do canoe restorations and restore a 34 foot motor home.


Deliberative Session
 The Board voted unanimously to enter Deliberative Session at 8:33 p.m.

0608-1: 8 Sunnyview Drive, Steve and Janice Pomazi, Owners

After careful consideration, the Board determined that no hardship existed.
Upon motion of Ms. Williams and second of Mr. Morton the Board voted unanimously to deny the application based on lack of hardship.




The Board voted unanimously to exit Deliberative Session at 8:35 p.m.



Upon a motion made by Mr. Morton, and seconded by Ms. Williams, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 8:35 P.M.
