Legal Notice
Warning of Special Town Meeting
The legal voters in the Town of Redding, Connecticut and those entitled to vote therein are hereby warned and notified to meet at the Special Town Meeting to be held in the Redding Town Hall Hearing Room in Redding on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. for the following purposes:
1. To consider and take action on the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen to sell and convey in conjunction with The Nature Conservancy approximately 14 acres of the Levine Property pursuant to the proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement;
2. To enter into an Open Space and Water Shed Land Acquisition Grant Agreement by and between the Town, The Nature Conservancy and the State of Connecticut;
3. To authorize the First Selectman to do any and all things legal and necessary to accomplish the above-named purposes, and to take any other action that may legally and properly come before the meeting.
