Special Board of Selectmen meeting
October 25, 2010

First Selectman Natalie Ketcham called the meeting to order at 8:15 at the Christ Church on Rte58/Cross Highway. Park and Recreation Director Paul Degner showed the board the playground equipment that the church was willing to donate to the town. It is three structures made of wood and “Trax” construction, taking up a space of approximately 40 sq ft.
The board then adjourned to Topstone Park, where Mr. Degner indicated the spot chosen by the Park & Recreation Commission for the playground installation. It was noted that the area could accommodate the equipment without the removal of any large healthy trees. The board agreed to put the playground donation on the agenda of the special Board of Selectmen meeting on October 28, 2010.
On the motion of Julia Pemberton, seconded by Don Takacs, the board adjourned at 9:20am.
