Present: Ketcham, Miller, Takacs
First Selectman Natalie Ketcham called the meeting to order at 5:05 pm. On the motion of Tina Miller, seconded by Don Takacs, the board went into Executive Session to discuss police contract negotiations and employee compensation for FY 2009-2010.
The board returned to Public Session at 6pm and took the following actions:
On the motion of Don Takacs, seconded by Tina Miller, the board unanimously approved the 2010-2013 police contract as negotiated and presented, and authorized the First Selectman to sign the contract on behalf of the town.
On the motion of Tina Miller, seconded by Don Takacs, the board voted unanimously to recommend to the Board of Finance a transfer of $55,601 from FY 2009-10 contingency to the salary account for non-union appointed and elected employees and those covered by the new police contract. The Board of Selectmen is not included and will not be receiving an increase in compensation for 2009-10.
The board adjourned at 6:10 pm.
