Special Board of Selectmen Meeting
February 26, 2009
8:45am Town Hall
First Selectman Natalie Ketcham called the meeting to order at 8:50am. On the motion made by N. Ketcham, seconded by Don Takacs, the board unanimously set a Town Meeting for March 10, 2009 at 8pm at the Community Center to accomplish the following:
To approve short-term borrowing pending long term financing for:
· $89,000 for water treatment systems for Redding Elementary School and John Read Middle School
· $495,275 for three snow plow trucks and equipment
· $1,004,725 for road reconstruction
On the motion of Tina Miller, seconded by D. Takacs, the board approved the two HRRA resolutions as presented. The Board rescheduled its regular March 16, 2009 meeting to 7pm on March 10, 2009 at the Community Center.
On the motion of D. Takacs, seconded by T. Miller, the meeting adjourned at 9:10am.
