ENERGY CONSERVATION HOURS REPORT/RECOMMENDATION
Controller Hutvagner submitted a report on energy savings as a result of the Friday closing of town buildings. The primary source of savings was the Community Center. Mr. Takacs would like additional information/impact of the Friday closing from residents. In addition, he suggested that since the biggest savings was from the Community Center, it may be wise to continue the Friday closings for that building, but revert back to the usual schedule for the other buildings. Mr. Takacs will follow up with Park and Recreation Department Blick on the issue prior to the next meeting. He also expressed concern that the Friday closings may have great impact on the Highway Department and the overtime budget.
EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK UPDATE
Mr. Takacs and Mrs. Miller are in the process of reviewing handbooks from other towns. Further review and discussion is needed on this topic.
ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Further discussion was tabled to the next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:48 pm
Respectfully submitted,
