Mrs. Ketcham called the June 11, 2007 meeting of the Board of Selectmen to order at 7:40 pm and immediately adjourned the meeting to Executive Session.
Mr. Cotton called the June 11, 2007 meeting of the Board of Finance to order at 7:40 pm and immediately adjourned the meeting to Executive Session.
Executive Session
Board of Selectmen:
Motion: move to executive session to discuss negotiations for property acquisition. Miller, Takacs. Approved Unanimous.
Board of Finance
Motion: move to executive session to discuss negotiations for property acquisition. DeSalvo, Guitar. Approved Unanimous.
Mr. Patton was invited to be present at the executive session.
The meeting adjourned at 7:41 pm
RECONVENE
The Board of Selectmen meeting was reconvened in public session at 8:27 pm.

Board of Selectmen
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Selectmen recommend to the Redding Board of Finance an expenditure of a sum not to exceed $1,375,000 for the purchase of the 54 acre site bordered by Orchard Road, Glen Hill Road, Dayton Road, Route 53 and Route 107, known as the Levine property, in partnership with the Nature Conservancy. Takacs, Miller. Approved. Unanimous.
Board of Finance
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Finance recommend an appropriation of up to $1,375,000 to be obtained from General Reserves to fund the purchase of the Levin property on Glen Hill Road and that such appropriation be recommended to a Town Meeting. Alvarez, DeSalvo. Approved. Unanimous.
Board of Selectmen
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Selectmen set a Town Meeting for the appropriation of up to $1,375,000 for Monday, June 26, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Redding Community Center. Miller, Takacs. Approved. Unanimous.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion: that the Board of Selectmen meeting be adjourned. Miller, Takacs. Approved. Unanimous.
Motion: that the Board of Finance meeting be adjourned. Alvarez, DeSalvo. Approved. Unanimous.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 pm.
