Special Meeting
October 29 2007
Present: Miller, Takacs, Ketcham
Mrs. Ketcham called the October 29, 2007 meeting to order at 8:05 pm, with the Board of Finance.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion: Move to recess to executive session with the Board of Finance for a discussion of matters pertaining to litigation. Miller, Takacs. Approved. Unanimous.
The meeting recessed at 8:06 pm
RECONVENE
The meeting was reconvened in public session at 9:00 pm.
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Selectmen authorized the First Selectman, Natalie T. Ketcham, to sign the Memo of Understanding pertaining to the Alliance for Sensible Air Space Planning, including the towns of New Canaan, Greenwich, Darien, Ridgefield, Westport, Wilton, Pound Ridge, NY, Norwalk, Stamford and any others who join the Alliance, and enter into an agreement with McDermott, Will and Emory in Chicago; and authorize the First Selectmen to sign a contract with Timmons and Company of Washington, DC for lobbying services; and authorize the First Selectmen to sign a contract with OnPoint Advocacy in Alexandria, VA for grass roots advocacy. The appropriation for all services approved is not to exceed $55,423. Ketcham, Miller. Approved. Unanimous.

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 9:05 pm
