MEETING MINUTES
Present: Don Takacs, Chris Hocker, Paul Winstanley, Jan Dorenbosch
Absent: Degener, Pelzer
Mr. Takacs called the February 9, 2010 meeting to order at 8:25 pm in the Redding Town Office Building.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion: move to approve the minutes of the December 8, 2010 meeting as submitted. Winstanley, Dorenbosch. Approved. Unanimous.
REVIEW RESULTS OF ZONING PUBLIC HEARING
Mr. Takacs recapped the Zoning Commission Public Hearing and meeting. The field project was given final approval with a list of conditions.
DISCUSSION OF NEXT STEPS, FUNDING BROCHURE AND FUNDING OPTIONS
Committee members discussed the next steps necessary to move the project forward. Mr. Degener has been working on a brochure and this should now be finalized for printing and distribution. The 501(c) 3, Redding Athletic Fields Foundation, Inc. account has been established and is in place to accept donations to fund the project. Committee members agreed that the first groups to target for donations are the various user groups and individual community members interested in philanthropic endeavors
Mr. Takacs asked committee members to forward ideas for fundraising to him for discussion at the next meeting.
