Program	Description
Child Passenger Safety Program	The Redding Police Department employs four certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (Car Seat Techs) who can educate and assist parents and caregivers as to the proper installation and use of child safety seats. Child ID Kits	Child ID Kits are available at any time at the Redding Police Department. These kits are completed and maintained by parents and caregivers.
LOCATOR Program	The Redding Police Department participates with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's LOCATOR program. This web-based computer program enables a police department to quickly release and disseminate information concerning a lost or missing child. Police departments are also permitted to utilize this program for non-child abductions and crime alerts.
