MINUTES
Tuesday, January 10, 2012
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House
Present: Diane Taylor, Chairman; Robert Dean; Nancy King; Donald Stroetzel; Tobey Welles, Alt., seated for T. Flagg.
Absent: Thomas Flagg; Jerry Sarnelli, Alt.
Also present: Jo-an Brooks, Land Use Coordinator
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m.
I. COMMISSION TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED FOR TOWN REPORT
The photograph from 2010 will be used for the Town Report.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Meeting 12/13/11
On the motion of D. Stroetzel and the second of N. King, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 12/13/11 Meeting Minutes as corrected: Page 1, last sentence, change to “The Commission will write a letter also noting support of the Town Plan of Conservation & Development and attention to historical details.”
III. ADMINISTRATIVE
- Incentive Housing Zones. J. Hayes, Planning Consultant; Subcommittee, Robert Dean, Nancy King. Discussion of Draft Overlay Zones and final steps for implementation and interaction with Zoning Commission.
The Commission reviewed methods to complete the final draft.
On the motion of R. Dean and the second of N. King, the Commission voted unanimously to request John Hayes to submit his draft and all information by Thursday, January 12 at 6:00 p.m. so the subcommittee can turn it into a workable draft for review.
Discussion tabled until the next meeting.
IV. PENDING
- 11 Wayside Lane. Letter sent to Mrs. Shelly re stone wall. No response.
- 39 Putnam Park Road. Inquiry re possibility of subdividing.
V. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
No discussion.
On the motion of T. Welles, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
