MINUTES
Tuesday, September 22, 2009
8:00 p.m., Old Town House
Present: Diane Taylor, Chairman; Michael Bakanas; Robert Dean; Thomas Flagg; Nancy King; Jerry Sarnelli, Alt.; Toby Welles, Alt.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:02 p.m.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES -Meeting 9/8/09
Site Walk Minutes 9/21/09
66 Seventy Acre Road, Mr./Mrs. L. Latham
On the motion of R. Dean and the second of M. Bakanas, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 9/8/09 Meeting Minutes as submitted.
On the motion of M. Bakanas and the second of N. King, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 9/21/09 Site Walk Minutes.
II. PRESENTATION. PUBLIC HEARING 10/13/09
Subdivision Application #522, 66 Seventy Acre Road, Louis and Debra Latham. Proposed subdivision of 6.17 acres into two lots. Received 9/8/09. Site Walk 9/12/09. Presentation 9/22/09.
Mr. Latham was present along with T. Quinn, Peak Engineers. D. Taylor noted receipt of and read a report from John Hayes dated 9/17/09. The Agenda will be changed to say “Resubdivision” instead of “Subdivision.”.
The resubdivision map was displayed and the proposal reviewed by Mr. Quinn. Lot line revisions will be assessed by the applicant in addition to preservation of stone walls. Design changes will be complete prior to the opening of the Public Hearing.
D. Taylor read the definition of the Building and Construction Restriction Line.
The Public Hearing will open at the next meeting.
III. ADMINISTRATIVE
1. TPCD Recommendations.
Subcommittee Recommendations on each chapter for future action. Chpt. 9 Urgent.
A list of properties will be compiled for discussion at the next meeting. J. Hayes will identify general areas of study. Recommendation to the Board of Selectmen will be made after further discussion.
2. Subdivision Regulation Revisions: Discussion of John Hayes’ letter and draft Chpt. 5.
Revisions will be forwarded to Commission Counsel P. Olsen for review. Pre-application process was reviewed.
3. Georgetown Building Lines and Find Parking in Georgetown.
Discussion.
J. Hayes submitted a memo describing future actions that are necessary to complete a change in the Main Street building line. Parking and sewage disposal were reviewed. Discussion will continue.
IV. PENDING
1. Scenic Road Report (and discussion of stone walls)
2. Traffic Calming.
V. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
J. Sarnelli will write the Planning Commission submission for the Town Report.
T. Welles read his draft letter to Chief Fuchs re: traffic studies. It was approved for the office to send.
On the motion of T. Flagg, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 11:00 p.m.
