TOWN PLAN OF CONSERVATION & DEVELOPMENT
Present: Robert Dean, acting Chairman; Nancy King; Jerry Sarnelli, seated for Tom Flagg; Toby Welles, seated for Diane Taylor; and Mike Bakanas
Absent: Diane Taylor, Tom Flagg
Also Present: Jo-an Brooks, Land Use Coordinator and John Hayes
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m.
R. Dean explained that at this meeting the Commission was asking only for comments about the changes made since the Public Hearing on the Town Plan of Conservation and Development. The Town Plan of Conservation and Development and the Open Space Plan Supplement are complete as presented.
The Commissioners gave an overview of changes made in each chapter as a result of input at the last Public Hearing.
Correspondence received since the Public Hearing was read into the record. It included:
11/25/08 letter from Penelope Dawson
12/11/08 letter from William Honan and Nancy Burton
12/5/08 letter from Nina Stietzel from the Stietzel Family Farm
The public was then invited to speak.

John Hayes discussed mapping done for the Plan. Dave Pattee, Chairman of the Conservation Commission, stated there were very few changes to the Open Space Plan, most of which were grooming for the final printing.
On the motion of R. Dean and the second of M. Bakanas the commission voted unanimously to adopt the Town Plan of Conservation and Development, including the 2008 Open Space Plan Supplement, as the official Plan of Redding to be effective 12/29/08.
On the motion of T. Welles, it was voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 9:10 p.m.
