On Monday evening, March 3, the first priority night for next year’s registration was held. The results are in!
1. There are very limited spaces available for 08-09 1st – 4th graders.
2. There is a short waiting list for 08-09 kindergarteners.
3. We will hold a lottery instead of having a second priority night registration.
4. The second priority lottery is only for new Frequent Flyers in grades 1- 4.
To enter the lottery for the second priority registration, bring the following items to the Park and Recreation Office before 7:30pm on Monday, March 10:
Please feel free to use the after-hours drop box outside the RCC if you cannot make it in to the office during business hours 9am – 4:30pm. The box will be emptied every morning and again at 7:30pm on Monday night.
The lottery will be held on Tuesday, March 11. All participants will be notified of the results by mail within a week of the lottery. If you get in, your payment of $225 ($200 deposit and $25 08-09 registration fee) will be due within a week.
It is so important to get on a waiting list so we have an accurate accounting of the community’s needs and who can take appropriate action.
FYI…
The Redding Boys and Girls Club is actively exploring the development of an after school program to address the needs of Redding parents who may be unable to participate
in the Park and Recreation Department’s Extended Day program due to the limited number of openings. Details will be forthcoming.
Important! Please check the website after March 11 for an update concerning third priority registrations.
