Ages 3-6 (6 year old entering Kindergarten) 6/30-8/8
Our Mini-Camp is designed for children ages 3-6 to have a camp experience that is age appropriate focusing on social skills and having fun with others in the school’s Kindergarten classrooms. If your child is six years old and entering 1st grade, Day camp is the camp for them. Campers will participate in activities such as arts and crafts, playground, dance, music, circle time and other fun events that will take place inside and outside. The activities are a vehicle to teach children how to develop friendships and build confidence.
The camp runs in two week sessions from 6/30-8/8. Each session will include a special event. Each camp week will have a fun interactive theme for all campers and counselors to participate in. Our campers work in small groups with a ratio of 6 campers per counselor.
Mini-Camp offers two choices of time slots depending on the developmental needs of your child. The full day runs from 9:00- 3:30 or you may elect to send your child only 9:00-1:00. Either way, you are selecting a camp that your child will enjoy and you will feel comfortable with. The campers will go to Topstone Park once per week on Tuesdays and are always in a limited swimming area under close supervision. New for the summer 2008, water safety instructors will be working with the mini campers to provide some swimming basics. Campers must be potty trained in order to attend camp, no exceptions.
