Club Getaway
Grades 5-9 6/24-6/27 Overnight trip
Start your summer off with some excitement. For campers entering 5th - 9th grades, we are  once again offering this shorter sleep away experience at Club Getaway in Kent, Connecticut. This year we will be traveling to Getaway as a group sleeping over for three nights beginning Tuesday, June 24 and arriving home Friday afternoon, June 27. You will receive a welcome letter prior to camp with packing
instructions and the trip rules. The bus will leave at 9am Tuesday morning and we will get situated in our cabins. We will then begin our Getaway activities immediately. Featured activities include: zip line, climbing wall, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, cooperative games, popular circus workshops (including trapeze) and rides around the lake on the banana boat. At night, there will be dancing, skits and game shows, as well as lit basketball and volleyball courts. Your child will be well supervised by Steve Schnell and his staff. Three meals a day are provided and the food is terrific, served family style for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is usually a grand buffet. There will be an informational meeting for all registered campers on Monday, June 23rd, 7:15pm in the Community room at the RCC. The fee is $420.00.
