This time slot is from the conclusion of the short day kindergarten (12:40) until the second bus time (2:40). At 2:40, your child could go home on the bus, be picked up in the walker’s room by parents or go to a 3:00 Park and Recreation activity.
For the 2011-12 school year, it is important to understand the following special considerations for your kindergartener:

No spot can be offered to you or any other child in this special category until your child is assigned a short day/long day schedule by RES towards the second half of August. . |

You must call the Park and Rec office as soon as you know your child’s short days. |

If offered a spot, it would not be available until the short day/long day schedule actually begins, typically during the first full week of school, which starts on Monday, Sept. 12. |

If you are able to accept a spot in Extended Day, you will need to provide the Park and Rec office with certain forms and payment no later than Friday September 4. |

Specific information about these forms and payment will be provided to you if and when you are offered a spot off the wait list. |
