Welcome to a program that began this past fall. This is an excellent opportunity for building valuable socialization skills while engaging in a wide variety of age appropriate activities for preschool children. Participants must be fully potty trained. Children can be signed up for as many days each month as you wish as long as openings exist.
Staff members from Extended Day, Amy Sugden and Sarah Ewud-Kilburn, (“Mrs. E”) will be offering daily arts and crafts, cooperative group games, dramatic play and theme based activities. There will be an emphasis on making good choices during social interaction and cooperating in a group. Class ratio will depend on class size but will not exceed 6:1.
Special Notes: If your child attends an RES preschool class that dismisses at 1:20, our staff can pick up your child at their classroom with your written permission to the preschool teacher. Pick up is in the Extended Day room. The 2:30 end time should make it convenient for you to drive around and get your older child from the walkers’ room or make it home in time for the bus.
Special Extended Day, Junior registration forms are available below, in the office and at the Extended Day room; no online registration is available at this time. Sign up for as many days as you like each month.
Days: Tuesday through Friday (activity does not meet on Mondays)
Dates: January 3, 2012 through the last regular day of school in June 2012.
Skip days: Snow days, RES minimum days.
Time: 1:20 – 2:30
Ages: 3 – 5 (children must be at least 4 by the end of current school year)
Fees: $9.00 per day–use sign-up calendar as registration form-no day of registration
