Redding Park and Recreation has three child care programs to meet the needs of working parents. These  programs are also used by parents to help meet the social needs of children in a community with so
few “neighborhoods”.
In grades K-4, about 60-80 children use the Extended Day program daily. The JRMS after school program usually has between 10-15 children and the morning Breakfast Club program at RES has between 5-10 children daily. The before school program at the middle school is run by the Redding Schools system.
