The Town has a Town Land-Use coordinator to assist applicants through the application process for each of the Town's land use commissions. Many
activities may require applications to two or more of these commissions. Also involved in land use are the Redding Building Inspector and the Redding Sanitation.
The Town of Redding has three land use commissions – The Planning Commission , The Zoning Commission and The Conservation Commission. Each of these commissions focuses on a specific aspect of land use within the Town. Each has comprehensive regulations developed to meet the unique needs of Redding. The Town also has a Zoning Board of Appeals for those who seek to request a variance from a specific section of the Redding Zoning Regulations.
The Land Use Coordinator, Planning Commission and Conservation Commission offices are located in the Old Town Hall building. The Zoning Commission, the Building Department and the Town Health Officer and Zoning/Wetlands Enforcement Officer's offices are located in the Redding Center Post Office building across the street from the Redding Town Hall.
