Present: Alvarez (Chairman), DeSalvo, Dolan, Guffey, Simeonidis, Viscio
Also present: First Selectman Ketcham, Selectman Takacs, Selectman Miller, L. McHale, Treasurer O’Donnell, Assessor Ford, one member of the public and a representative of the Redding Pilot
Chairman Alvarez called the meeting to order at 8:12 pm
DISCUSSION AND ACTION 2009-2010 BUDGET
The budget referendum was successfully passed. The budget for Region 9 Board of Education was also passed.
MILL RATE FOR 2009-2010 BUDGET
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Finance set a mill rate of 0.0218 for fiscal 2009-2010. DeSalvo, Simeonidis.
Discussion followed. Board members reviewed the revenue numbers for the Park & Recreation, Zoning, and Town Clerk departments. Assessor Ford reported no material changes in the Grand List since the last meeting.
Vote on Motion: Unanimously Approved.
REPORTS FROM BOARD MEMBERS
Mr. DeSalvo reported the Superintendent Search Committee reached a decision on a candidate finalists and made site visits, but the candidate withdrew from consideration.

Motion: move to adjourn. DeSalvo, Dolan. Approved. Unanimous.
