The Commission discussed ideas to involve schools in a fund drive for Redding Shares the Warmth. An educational program will raise awareness among students and the community in general of the resources available in town. The flu shot clinic to be held on November 5, 2009 was canceled due to lack of vaccine available from the Bethel VNA. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The new lunch program will begin on November 10 as well. The Sidestreet Café in Bethel will cater lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will involve registration and reservations in order to receive lunches.
