MINUTES

Tuesday, January 4, 2011
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House

Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Jeremiah Ross; William Hill; Joseph Beres; Victor DeMasi; Wallace Perlman.

Absent: Stuart Green

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

I.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES     -Minutes of December 21, 2010
                                -Minutes of Site Inspections 12/29/10
                                -Mr./Mrs. L. Weaver, 118 Mountain Rd.
                                -Mr./Mrs. B. O’Neill, 207 Lonetown Rd.
                                -Region 9 Board of Education, 100 Black Rock Tpke.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of J. Ross, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 12/21/10 Meeting Minutes.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 12/29/10 Site Inspection Minutes.

II.     REGULATORY

Application #10-26, Karen and Leon Weaver, 118 Mountain Road.  Received 12/21/10.  Discussion and possible vote on an application for construction of a Conservatory within the regulated area.  Site Walk 12/29/10.

Mr. and Mrs. Weaver were present.  Site Walk findings were reviewed.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #10-26.

Application #10-27, Bernard and Joan O’Neill (owners), Linda Rachele Burke (agent), 207 Lonetown Road.  Received 12/21/10.  Discussion and possible vote on an application for construction of driveway, house and yard for single-family residence within the regulated area.  Site Walk 12/29/10.

Mr. and Mrs. O’Neill were present.  Site Inspection findings were reviewed.  D. Pattee read a letter from D. Hartline.  A representative from Civil 1 displayed and reviewed revised plans dated 1/3/11.  

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of J. Beres, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #10-27.

Application #10-28, Region 9 Board of Education (owners), Walter Czudak (agent),  100 Black Rock Turnpike.  Received 12/21/10.  Discussion and possible vote on an application to install Baseball and Softball Scoreboards within the regulated area.  Site Walk 12/29/10.

W. Czudak was present.  Site Inspection findings were reviewed.

On the motion of J. Ross and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #10-28.

III.    CHAIRMAN’S REPORT                                                                                                                                                                        D. Pattee reported on potential violations as noted by B. Flanagan.

        J. Ross reported on a fallen hemlock at Stormfield.

        J. Beres will attend the 1/10/11 Board of Selectmen meeting at Town Hall, 7:30
p.m..  re: deer hunting.


On the motion of V. DeMasi and the second of J. Beres, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
