MINUTES

Tuesday, November 16, 2010
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House

Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Jeremiah Ross; Stuart Green; Joseph Beres; Victor DeMasi; Wallace Perlman.

Absent:  William Hill

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

I.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES     -November 2, 2010

On the motion of  W. Perlman and the second of J. Ross, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 11/2/10 Meeting Minutes.

II.     REGULATORY

Application #10-24, Debra and Kevin Jones, 16 Granite Ridge Road.  Received 10/19/10.  Discussion and possible vote on an application for basement repair and to correct drainage within the regulated area.  Site Walk 10/24/10.  Discussion 11/2/10.

No one was present for the applicant. D. Pattee noted receipt of and reviewed a memo from D. Hartline outlining his requirements.

On the motion of J. Ross and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #10-24.

Application #10-25, Lynn Peters, 291 Redding Road.  To receive and discuss an application to construct a driveway within the regulated area, and associated house, well and septic.

Lynn Peters was present.  The proposal was reviewed accompanied by a drawing. D. Pattee provided a history of this application and remaining work to be done.

A Site Walk was scheduled for Sat., 11/20/10 at 8:30 a.m.




III.    CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

D. Pattee reported that the funeral for Anita Arnold’s daughter will be held on 11/20/10 in Newtown.

CACIWC contact information will be distributed by C. Keil.

D. Pattee announced the court decision re: affordable housing project in Ridgefield. The decision stipulated that no housing is permitted in the Saugatuck River watershed area in Ridgefield and Redding.

D. Pattee attended DEP Segment III training re: GIS on 11/4/10.  A CD is available re: map reading and site plan review.

Deer report status briefly reviewed.

J. Ross attended a meeting re: Public Act 490.


On the motion of V. DeMasi and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
