MINUTES

Tuesday, October 19, 2010
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House

Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Jeremiah Ross; William Hill; Joseph Beres; Wallace Perlman.

Absent: Victor DeMasi

Stuart Green was introduced as a new Commissioner effective 11/2/10.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  


I.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES     -       Minutes of October 5, 2010

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted to approve the 10/5/10 Minutes as amended:  Page 2, first item under “Chairman’s Report”, change to “Fairfield Country Municipal Deer Alliance.”  J. Ross abstained.

II.     REGULATORY

Application #10-24, Debra and Kevin Jones, 16 Granite Ridge Road.  To receive and discuss an application for basement repair and to correct drainage within the regulated area.

A representative for Mr. and Mrs. Jones was present.  The proposal was reviewed and a site walk was scheduled for Sun., 10/24/10 at 9:00 a.m.

Permit #08-03, Frank Harsche, 626 Redding Road.  Request to modify existing Permit to include the construction of an 8’ x 10’ deck off the rear of garage under construction within the regulated area.

Mr. Harsche was present.  The proposal and drawing was reviewed.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of J. Beres, the Commission voted unanimously to allow the 8’ x 10’ deck.



III.    CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

D. Pattee noted a budget forum re: Public Act 490 on November 16, 6-8 pm at the Redding Community Center.

S. Green will be going to the CACIWC Annual Meeting.

D. Pattee will be attending the Fairfield County Municipal Deer Alliance meeting on 10/20/10.

V. DeMasi is attending a meeting in Ridgefield re: affordable housing/cluster zoning on Route 7.

S. Green provided an update re: Couch Hill Preserve.


On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of J. Beres, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 p.m.
