The Commission began its inspection at the end of the driveway and the rear of the house. About four feet of fill has been placed at the rear of the house running the length of the house and beyond each end. The fill has created a very steep embankment down to the wetlands. Silt fence has been installed at the bottom and has held up well, except for a minor breach that allowed a small amount of silt (sand) to escape slightly into the wetlands. The breach has been repaired. The Commission inspected the toe of the slope from the bottom and noted the proximity to the wetlands.
The site inspection ended at 5:20 pm.
