The Commission began its inspection by entering the property along the proposed machine access route.  The off-lawn area to the east was indicated by G. Nazzaro as an area where the applicant would like to place a portion of the dredged material from the pond.  Skunk cabbage and other wetlands plants were observed just off the edge of the lawn.

The inlet to the pond was inspected and the locations of the two proposed forebays were observed.  The area at the north end of the pond was inspected as was the pond outlet system.  The area for rock emplacement for tree stabilization on the east side of the pond was also noted.  The second proposed area for dredged material was inspected and the wetlands area noted.

The site inspection ended at 8:50 am.
