The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to review appeals applications for real estate, personal property and commercial property tax from the Grand List of October 1, 2010.
21 appeals were received and hearings will be scheduled for Saturday March 12, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If necessary, another hearing date will be scheduled to accommodate appellants who cannot attend a Saturday hearing.
Of the 21 appeals, 16 are real estate tax, 1 real estate/commercial, 1 personal property and 2 commercial properties. A motor vehicle appeal was also received and will be handled administratively by the Assessors office.
A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried unanimously at 4:44 p.m.
