The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m.
Six appeals were deliberated:
Vicki Hall, 722 Redding Road:
2007 Honda Pilot, assessed value $18,250
Absolute Transportation, LLC, 70 Dayton Road, appealed the assessments on 5 motor vehicles, citing high mileage as a factor.
2007 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $14,840
2008 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $17,920
2006 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $12,360
2007 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $12,340
2008 Lincoln Navigator, assessed value $29,720
The Board went into deliberative session at 11:00 a.m.
2007 Honda Pilot, assessed value $18,250
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Mr. Palmer the Board voted unanimously that no change be made in the assessment.
2007 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $14,840
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Ms. Bourque, the Board voted unanimously to reduce the assessment to $10,465.
2008 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $17,920
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Ms. Bourque, the Board voted unanimously to reduce the assessment to $16,065.
2006 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $12,360
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Mr. Palmer, the Board voted unanimously to reduce the assessment to $4,535.
2007 Lincoln Town Car, assessed value $12,340
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Ms. Bourque, the Board voted unanimously to reduce the assessment to $11,620.
2008 Lincoln Navigator, assessed value $29,720
Upon motion of Mr. Stackpole and second of Mr. Palmer, the Board voted unanimously to reduce the assessment to $27,865.
The Board set the tentative date of the preliminary Real Estate Assessment Meeting for the Grand List of October 1, 2010 for Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.
Meeting dates for subsequent hearings were tentatively scheduled for:
Wednesday, March 9, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Friday, March 11, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday, March 12, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried unanimously at 11:22 a.m.
