REAL ESTATE APPEALS
Wednesday, February 24, 2010

TOWN HALL CONFERENCE ROOM

Members Present: Greg Stackpole, Chairman; Scott Palmer

Alternate Members Present: Liz Furrer, Ellen Malmon


The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to review applications submitted for real estate and personal property appeals of the 2009 Grand List.

The Board discussed administrative procedure and the appeal process.

41 applications were received as of Monday, February 22, 2010. Due to Town Hall being closed on Saturday, February 20, 2010, the published deadline for receipt of applications, the Board agreed that applications postmarked February 20, 2010 would be eligible for review.


The Board scheduled the following meeting dates for appeal hearings:

March 10, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
March 13, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Board will determine the date of deliberations at the next scheduled meeting of March 10, 2010.

A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried unanimously at 7:20 p.m.
