Currently all property within the Town of Redding is valued using the cost schedules that were developed during the 2002 Revaluation.  When a new structure or modification is made to an existing structure the Assessor’s Office will receive notification from the Building department and the Assessor or member of the Assessor’s office will conduct a physical appraisal of the property and record all changes.

Revaluation:
The Town of Redding last implemented a revaluation October 1, 2002.  The next revaluation is scheduled for October 1, 2007.  When the revaluation process begins, property owners should be expecting a field inspection of their home.  We ask for your assistance as we are striving to retrieve accurate information on each property.  Property owners can expect correspondence from the Assessor’s office and or Revaluation Company, to keep them informed of the process.
