Saturday, April 30, 2011 Redding Elementary School
Earth Day observances in Redding, jointly sponsored by the Town of Redding, Redding Land Trust, New Pond Farm and Mark Twaiin Library. The day begins with the building of Mount Trashmore at the Redding Elementary School. Treats are scheduled for 2 pm, with musical entertainment, poetry reading, dedication of a tree, and dismantling of Mt. Trashmore t 4 pm. Additional activities are planned for Saugatuck Falls.
